SUMMER....

one word, three letters, HOT! and by hot i mean the temperature.

Anyway, it's been a while since i posted anything, I always find myself not in the mood to post anything even though SOMETHING happened/is happening.

Ask anyone, SUMMER = BORING. Since i don't have a lot of stuff to do, i figured I'd try stuff i don't normally do. I started to work out, you know...uhmm body building? yeah, that's it, body building. And i also started to study Java, more popularly known as the programing language behind those flash/web browser games people play which apparently are called "applets". Yes, I'm actually studying advanced lessons. Let's face it, it's either this or sleep all day, and I want to do something productive for once in my life. Oh yeah, and i've been mopping floors lately.....don't know why though..... :|

A few weeks back, i started to see things that reminded me my HS life...at that instant, my phone played "Remember When (Used to be Used to)" by There for Tomorrow. click the link to view the music vid and click here to see the lyrics. It's a pretty cool song....worth clicking, i swear.

the day my world stood still....

when i woke up this morning...the first thing i did is go to the PC. I turned it on, and i started YM...to my surprise...it says there's a connection error blah blah, so i opened cmd to check my internet connection...boom! Yahoo's server did not reply, so something was definitely wrong with yahoo, so i left it alone....i started cabal, i played for hours...and while playing, i was gm-ing to my clanmates some random sh*t. After a few more hours...the world stopped....how?

here's how!

cabal's server got f*cked, it restarted and it's still f*cked so it had to undergo emergency server maintenance...so no more comp game for me,
then! i ran out of unli when i was starting to enjoy txting with my clanmates, so i went outside to buy load to register for unli again...after registering...guess what?
Globe's f*cked up too! it won't accept my registration for unli...so...no more txting for me too,
I was so frustrated so i went outside to buy something sweet to cheer me up...guess what? the store near my house was closed!
so i called one of my friends to narrate to him this story....he uses a cordless phone....guess what?
his handset was lowbat...so our conversation got cut.
My mom txted me, she said she's bringing home the cake that i like so much....but there's a problem...she's stuck in a huge traffic jam....

so let's recap...
yahoo's dead, so i can't go online in ym.
globe is f*cked.
cabal game server is down.
store across the street is closed.
my cake is melting/being spoiled because of the delay.
my friends phone dies while i was talking to him.

that's pretty much it....i think...

oh and btw.... while i was writing this post....my pc re-started....just right before this was saved...so yeah...i had to retype some of this.

good guys are push overs

here is a story straight from my imagination..........

One day, there was a guy named Shinn. Shinn had a friend named RB and 2 other friends who are unrelated to the story so i won't bother to name them. RB found a girl that lives in a building next to his apartment. RB liked this girl so he started to court her, her name was Caroline. One day, Caroline introduced RB to her neighbors in her apartment building. One of them was named Janice. RB became friends with Caroline's neighbors. One day, when he was going to Janice's house along with Caroline, he decided to take Shinn along. He wanted to introduce Shinn to some of Caroline's friends so they can become one big group of friends. When they got there everyone was friendly with each other, RB's plan was a success.

One day, when Shinn was worried about his driver's license exam, he asked RB for help, but RB told him to talk to Janice because Janice has lots of notes and she's going to take the same test too. After their short conversation, Janice ends up giving her number to Shinn. After a few days of getting to know each other, Shinn found himself liking Janice. So Shinn made a plan to court her in a few weeks. Caroline and RB found out about this and they got excited. Because of their excitement, they started to tease the both of them. After a few days... Janice started to feel a little uneasy about it. Shinn noticed it too. But Shinn said "i could be wrong". A few days later, Shinn found out that Janice already likes another guy, and he knows that Janice is already uneasy with him. So Shinn decides to leave Janice alone to avoid any complications. He wanted Janice to be happy with liking that guy. He didn't want to confuse her with his feelings for her. So he tells RB and Caroline that he doesn't like Janice anymore (even though he still does) just to stop all the teasing.

This is a story i crafted, it's up to you if you want to call it fiction or truth...
This is a second episode....to the series, sorry i wasn't able to post the 1st one, i might post it sometime in the future though.

FINALS WEEK!!!!

wooooh! i finally ran out of things to worry about!

i recently obtained a laptop, so i put windows 7 in it, coz vista sucks a lot.
the problem with this laptop is that it's extremely picky, it crashes everytime someone new is nearby. By someone new, i mean...a person who haven't been around this laptop for more than 3 hours or so. YES, I KNOW IT'S WEIRD

ok so, the past few days, i've been hooked on this game where you start out as a cell and you evolve into a civilization capable of travelling space. It's called Spore! Ever since i put it in my laptop, it became popular among my friends. I first got it from my friend gian. When everybody saw what spore had to offer, they got hooked on it too. It even caused people to cut their classes. Yes, that's the power of SPORE. =))

I'm gonna pass physics! woooh! yesterday, we computed our tentative grade in physics, i thought i was gonna fail but it turns out...i only lack 0.5 to pass physics....i can get that on the final exams! woooh! no summer for me!

tower of goo.....

Recently one of my friends showed me a game called world of goo, it's a logic game, where you solve puzzles mainly by building intricate towers or structures out of pieces of goo that come together.
After going through all the weirdness and finishing the game, there's a game mode there where you get to build a tower from all the goo you've accumulated throughout the game. The challenge is to create the tallest tower anyone has ever created, you can connect to the internet to see the current leader boards on the highest tower built. Mine is only up to 27.3 meters T_T, last time i checked...the highest was 50 meters.

Everyone has their own tower of goo. They try to make it as tall as they can...but in the process....the tower falls over and all their hard work goes down with it.
In life, the same thing happens, when you're building your reputation or when you're reaching for your goal...you will fail! everyone does the first time. It's how you learn from your mistake that will let you reach your goal.

A few months ago, i talked to a High school friend of mine...i told him that i have a problem (in my earlier blogpost i narrated a story to how me and my friends(in ust) became outcasts from the block), i told my friend that i'm having trouble with my friends, i was getting irritated with them, coz they think the other one is stupid but in reality...both them are stupid, one of them is greatly iritable and extremely boastful and the other one is a gigantic push over, a cry baby, and an over all loser. They are my friends because they are the only ones who aren't stabbing me in the back and they are the only ones who talk to me. No matter how much i want to ditch them, i can't coz...i have nowhere else to go and i feel a little guilty about ditching them. So i'm stuck with them. Recently, a new guy joined our little group, now this guy is good at EVERYTHING except basketball. At first it was all good...now he's starting to feel the same way i do... now he sees how stuck i am. It was too late, he's already involved with all the issues our little group has...now i'm guilty of not warning him, he asked me to talk to our friends and tell them to change their bad habits, Because he knows...deep down, our two friends are good persons, they just suck at showing it. So now...i have this task of confronting our two friends But..i have no idea how to do it.

I just hope this tower of goo doesn't collapse....

i didn't even use an AK (i never do...)

Ok this was another one of those days where i go to school expecting to have classes for the whole day but ends up virtually not having classes the whole day. Me and my friends hung out for a while then one of the friends of one of my friends wanted to play L4D. It was a popular game I haven't even seen yet, so i told my friends why don't we come along and watch? And so we did! we went to this sick comp shop! it contained around 150+ computers!!! WTF and all the computers seem to be performing exceptionally.
When my friend's friend sat in front of a computer, one of the store attendants turned-on computers in front of us(the spectators) and told us "maglaro na kayo" and then....there it was...on the desktop, a shortcut to COD4. So i said...."tara! COD4 tayo! habang nag L4D sila".
And we played, we had a great time! Killing each other, me using my weapon of choice, the M16. At first, one of my friends (tone) won't stop whining because he keeps getting killed, he's complaining that he hasn't played that before and the game is too fast and we're all too fast...but 3 rounds later...he starts getting better....WAY better!!! There was even a round where me and gian(the top 2 scorers) almost lost because of him. I guess whining does get you somewhere.... from last place to third place...

after playing we realized....that we played for more than 3 hours! but it only felt like an hour and a half, we had a lot fun...so we decided to do it again sometimg. So my friend gian told me to find other hardcore COD4 players.
How about you? wanna join us the next time? :D

P.S. since i didn't notice the time, i had to borrow money from gian to pay for the rental.... tnx gian!
P.S. tone used an AK

something I don't see everyday

uhmm yes a pic of chicks taken from inside a jeep....scroll down for explanation...

scroll down once more for explanation...hehe

anyway here it is, after a regular day at school. I was going to the library to research about our group's report in a couple of weeks(or next week). A groupmate/friend/blockmate of mine saw me and accompanied me to the library, after we did our research, we went home...he taught me a new route to get to an LRT station, it's the Tayuman station. But before we got there, we walked toward lacson(we were at dapitan). When we got to Lacson, we saw a jeepney heading for Tayuman...as we walk towards it...we noticed something not normal.....we saw a group of cute(some of them are) high school chicks by the jeepney, they were shouting (Tayuman! SM!!!).
We thought to ourself....WTF!!! and my friend said ..."ano yan mga high school, mga taga uste ata yan eh, UST HS. sige sumigaw sila jan 6 pesos lng kikitain nila" then we got on the said jeepney. Then i said "video-han kaya natin, parang gusto ko pakita kila vincent, ahaha kasi napaka unusual eh". And that's why this story made it here in my blog......

BTW sorry if the pics don't really depict chicks working for the jeepney driver, it was hard to take pictures from inside the jeepney, i was too amazed to take pictures while i was on my way.
